What's the deal with digitals?

Pros:

  • Easily share on social media

  • Quicker turnaround time

  • Reprint multiple styles and ways

  • Can DIY your images the way you want

  • Easier to keep private

Cons:

  • Most printing companies have poor-quality products

  • Printing using cheaper options will reduce the quality of the artwork you paid for

  • Most people never wind up printing their images

  • They can get deleted

In our modern era, digitals have become a very popular option. Especially if you are someone who loves to share your boudoir journey on social media. Digital files offer the convenience of immediate access and easy sharing. Since digitals include printing rights, you have the freedom to create prints or share them on social media. If you choose a digital collection, the images you select will be hand-edited and high-resolution. This means that, even though they are digital, they will still be a high-quality product. However, if you don’t choose a high-quality printing company it can ruin the quality of the artwork you paid for. Many people choose digitals thinking it will save a couple bucks opting to print at Walmart instead. Until they get their photos back and realize it's a muted poorly cropped version of the original. DIY’ing your images can sometimes be more difficult than people anticipate. Because of this, many people choose the ease of ordering physical products directly from the photographer. Yet, if you are willing to take on the challenge, the ability to print and share can allow you to relive the magic of your boudoir experience.

On the flip side, many people prefer to leave their digitals unprinted to maintain their privacy. It’s common to choose digitals so they don’t have physical prints lying around the house. If you opt for digitals, it’s important to save them to multiple places in case they get corrupted or deleted. We all know how finicky technology can be, and the last thing you want is to lose all your beautiful images.

Digitals are a great way to share, relive, and reprint your beautiful collection of images. It's a great option to celebrate your boudoir journey but may require a little more work and effort than you expected. If you’re not a do-it-yourselfer but still want the beauty of a physical product, you can always opt for prints of your session.

Are prints the perfect choice?

Pros:

  • Your images are a work of art and it’s the best way to showcase that

  • Less stress/ no DIY necessary

  • Your photographer will use the best printing company available

  • You’ll have a cherished keepsake forever

  • Boudoir is a luxury experience and you deserve a luxury product

Cons:

  • You’ll only have one keepsake

  • Prints can get lost and destroyed

  • Longer delivery time

  • Harder to copy, reprint, and share

Albums and prints give you a tangible and artistic way to cherish your boudoir memories. A professionally crafted album not only tells a story but also elevates your images to a new level of sophistication. The tactile experience of flipping through the pages adds a sense of intimacy, allowing you to savor each moment captured by the lens. All our albums are printed on thick lay-flat pages with your choice of texture and finish. It’s the most luxurious way to relive your boudoir experience. When you select an album collection, we'll guide you through our design options. You’ll select all your desired images for your album, your page texture, and any add-ons such as gilded edges. All our albums are hand-designed and curated by your photography team, taking the stress off of your shoulders. In exchange, designing quality prints and albums does take time. So if you are in a hurry and need your images within a week, physical products may not be the best choice for you. Don’t get me wrong, printed products are worth the wait. A personalized album becomes a cherished keepsake, a representation of your boudoir journey.

On the flip side, it will be the only keepsake you have of your boudoir journey. This means that you may run the risk of losing your precious images. Just like digitals, prints can get lost and destroyed, but unlike digitals, your photographer will not be able to replace them if this happens. Not only can you run the risk of losing your collection, but it will also be much more difficult to copy, reprint, and share your photographs. Even though physical prints and albums may seem limiting, nothing compares to the feeling of flipping through an album of your images. Prints are the most artistic and expressive way to cherish your image. However, you lose a lot of the versatility when you opt for just prints. So why not choose both?
